Orange Monkey Publishing "Orange Monkey" is the name that was chosen for our publishing company. In a nut shell, Orange Monkey Publishing is based on the belief in myself, my husband’s support and my mom’s financial loan. I have a deep faith in my abilities to write and tell a good story – so much so that when presented with the idea of self publishing I felt confident about that direction. It was my husband who came up with the name; it was quirky like me and it had something of him in it too – his favourite color is orange and with his profession being siding he’s ‘a wall monkey’. The company was backed by my mother’s loan, she also had faith in my abilities and proved it by putting her money where her mouth was! - Thanks Mom. Orange Monkey Publishing is a sister company to my husband’s business: Orange Monkey Exteriors Inc. At this time Orange Monkey Publishing is not open to publishing any works other than those created by myself, Aviva Bel’Harold. However, I am open to talking about my experiences and offering advice to anyone looking to follow in my steps. Orange Monkey Exteriors Inc. This company was started by my husband: Dave Harold, in May of 2008. After years of working for other companies in this field he decided to branch out into the business. OME provides a number of services: Vinyl Siding, Soffit, Facia, Smart Board Batten as well as Mettle Batten and Custom Mettle work.
